KAMT, a Construction-Technical company in the field of optical fibers, based in Thessaloniki, is seeking an Engineer for the Technical Department to staff the technical department.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in engineering, telecommunications, or other related technical fields
• Experience in a similar position is desirable
• Very good computer skills (MS Office package, Internet)
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or other similar design and visualization software
• Experience with GIS-based design platforms
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Good knowledge of the German language is a plus

Main Responsibilities:

• Designing FTTX networks in Greece and abroad
• Using QGIS & AutoCAD tools to create FTTX networks
• Analyzing data to create the most cost-effective network
• Adhering to specifications during design
• Creating work and construction permit files
• Live monitoring of project construction progress and implementation of designs
• Conducting studies for documentation
• Processing topographical data, markings, and depictions of project topographical elements according to approved studies
• Reporting progress to the project manager
